Wetland Restoration: Mud Barge Design

Written by Blaine LaFleur | May 16, 2017

Perceived Problem:

  • The only way to perform wetland restoration projects is with a Marsh Buggy. (Image below)
  • Operators have to settle with the lack of production of smaller Marsh Buggy type units.
  • Operators are must deal with the problems of transporting the bulky Marsh Buggy unit.

Engineering Solution:

EngineerDesign, and manufacture an unconventional method to perform wetland restoration projects, increase production, and eliminate transportation issues.

StoneWall provide and engineering solution by designing a barge strong enough to withstand the full weight, under payload, of a 345 excavator while remaining light enough to be moved under the hydraulic lifting power of the excavator. (See story line below)
